Stick-Built System Curtain Wall
Also known as the stick-built system, this is one of the most traditional methods for curtain wall construction. In this system, individual components—such as mullions (vertical and horizontal members), spandrel panels, and panels—are delivered to the construction site and assembled piece by piece. The installation sequence typically involves fixing the support system first, followed by the vertical mullions, horizontal mullions, spandrel panels, and finally the vision panels.
Level of Prefabrication:
Factory: 20%
On-site: 80%
This method is suitable for projects that require flexibility during installation and where transportation or site access limits the use of large prefabricated units.
